InfraGard

InfraGard is a non-profit program through the FBI. They exchange information about terrorism, intelligence, criminal and security issues. They share their intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States. After the correct training and education, anyone can be a part of InfraGard. Once a part of a chapter, members can gain access to information that can help them protect their assets as well as using that information to protect the government. The FBI uses special agents to supervise the InfraGard chapters and members.
The part that I find most interesting about this is that anyone can join and be a member. It seems like an organization that would require special training and education. I had never heard of InfraGard before this project so I leared a lot about it by reading an article online. I think it's cool that a large group of people voluntarily spend their time getting information to protect our country and citizens.
